For purchases up to $50,000, customers can use this guarantee to repair or replace any jewelry from Fred Meyers made with earth-mined diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, or gemstones. However, emeralds, opals, and pearls are excluded.
To maintain and keep the Lifetime Loss & Damage Guarantee, customers must bring (or send) their purchased jewelry to Fred Meyer Jewelers for inspection. This inspection is required annually and is conducted by Fred Meyer Jewelers’ associates. Once completed, associates will update the customers’ jewelry records. That record verifies completed annual inspections and outlines any repairs that need to be done. Customers are then expected to have repairs completed at their expense by a Fred Meyer Jewelers representative.
If this guarantee is something you are interested in taking advantage of, also keep in mind that it does not cover jewelry theft, abuse, or careless loss. Also, any tampering or mistreatment of your jewelry and any modifications or repairs NOT done by a Fred Meyers rep will disqualify your jewelry from this guarantee.
Mounting Guarantee
The mounting guarantee picks up from the Lifetime Loss & Damage Guarantee explained above. This guarantee ensures that the mounting that comes with your jewelry will be repaired or replaced if any defects are found. The mounting guarantee is usually valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Lifetime Diamond Trade-in Privilege

With the Lifetime Diamond Trade-in Privilege, customers can trade in a qualifying piece of jewelry toward the purchase price of a new piece of diamond jewelry.
