Featured in Feedspot's Top 100 Men's Blogs

On Thursday, November 30, 2023, I woke up to an email from the founder of Feedspot, Anuj Agarwal. In that email, he congratulated me because their panelists had selected my website/blog as one of their Top 100 Mens Blogs. I was initially ranked 74, though other versions of the list on the website have me listed at random. Either way, this is not bad, considering I am still growing and fine-tuning this website. This was an unexpected but pleasant surprise, and I am eternally grateful.

About Feedspot
Feedspot is a database of over 250,000 blogs and online publications that they classify into more than 1500 niche categories. From a web user such as yourself standpoint, it is a content reader that helps you keep up with multiple websites in one platform. Whether for personal or business use, Feedspot can track forums, blogs, magazines, social media accounts, YouTube channels, podcasts, and more.
The over 1500 niche categories is where Feedspot shines. Their main niche categories include, but are not limited to:
- Technology
- Books
- Music
- Education
- Business
- Fitness
- Fashion & Beauty
- Lifestyle
- Travel
- Food
- Photography
- And more
Within these many main categories are more specific subcategories to tailor your search further. Once you have your list(s), you can export and use it however you’d like. For example, if you are a business, you can use your targeted list to find suitable online entities for your next marketing campaign. That list will have the following data for each blog or entity:
- direct email contact
- Social media link
- Moz domain authority
- Link, Title, and Description
- RSS feed link
- Posts from the last 12 months.
Submitting to Feedspot
I first came across Feedspot as a typical web user would. I was searching for other men’s fashion and lifestyle content creators with their own websites. My goal was to get more inspiration and ideas on how my website should look and function, in addition to more content ideas.
Thankfully, Feedspot had more than one niche list for my search. Each of them had men’s fashion and lifestyle content creators I was already aware of, plus new creators. Going through these lists of creators’ websites and content helped me feel inspired to keep going with redesigning my own website and coming up with fresh content ideas.
While browsing Feedspot’s lists, I learned I could submit my website to them. Though only using their free plan, I signed up for Feedspot to submit my website. I provided them with my website’s name, link, and description. I also submitted my primary contact email and social media links. Finally, I chose the maximum number of categories I wanted my website listed. I was not expecting to be in the top 100 of any category.
What’s Next?
Again, when I submitted my website to Feedspot, I did not expect to be listed in the top 100 of any category at all. However, I am genuinely grateful to their panelist for visiting my website, taking the time to evaluate it, and recognizing its potential. While I know I have a long way to go with my website, I hope people who visit can realize its potential in both growth and creative direction. All I have to do is keep progressing.
Continue to Create Content
Now that Feedspot has recognized my website’s potential, I feel motivated to continue creating content for my website and social media accounts. While visual content will take some time to perfect, I have enough written content ideas to last me well into 2024 that I now want to hurry up and finish to share with you all.

Continue to Perfect My Website
You probably did not know this, but I am building my website entirely by myself and from scratch. No, I am no expert in coding; I use WordPress (.org, not .com; yes, there is a fundamental difference) and Elementor. However, I do not receive any help from a professional web developer (mainly because I cannot afford one).
As a result of doing everything myself, I am constantly researching and finding new ways to make my website look and function better. This constant task is how I ultimately found Feedspot. They helped me find inspiration for making my site look and perform better by evaluating other websites within my niche.
Organically Increase my Rankings in the Men’s Blogs Category.
It is my hope that my ranking in Feedspot’s Top 100 Men’s blog improves. Achieving this would likely involve creating more content for my website, enhancing its look and functionality, and increasing its domain authority, among other tactics. While I could pay for Feedspot’s more advanced features, I do not have the funds to allocate towards that at the moment. However, even if I did, I feel that it would be more rewarding if my position in the top 100 improved on its own. It would be a true testament to my continuous hard work.
Be Featured in the Top 100 of More Feedspot Categories
I am not sure if this is possible without paying. However, if I could be featured in more Feedspots niche categories, that would be great. That would be even better if I could earn a spot in the top 100 of those additional categories.
Be Featured on More Online Platforms
In conclusion, my final goal is to be featured on more online platforms. As broad as this may sound, the more relevant online platforms I, my website, and/or content I am featured in, the more opportunities I can gain. This can include, but is not limited to:
- Social media
- Publications
- Other high ranking lists like Feedspots Top 100 Mens Blogs
- Podcasts
- Interviews
I know I have a long way to go until I consistently receive more recognition like this. However, as long as I continue to fine-tune my website and create content to help solidify my online identity and direction, more recognition like this will undoubtedly come.
