For example, some vitamin E oil products on the market claim to be pure. However, in reality, they are either a blend of essential oils that contain Vitamin E or a synthetic form of it.

My Experience Using Everyday Beauty’s Pure Vitamin E Oil
I’m happy to have discovered Everyday Beauty’s Pure Vitamin E Oil on Amazon. Overall, it has effectively improved the quality of my skin, hair, and even nails. This comes from someone who has tried ‘hair, skin, and nail’ pill supplements. This pure vitamin E oil delivers similarly remarkable results no matter where I apply it on my body, and over time, the difference is truly impressive.
Facial Skincare
I originally bought this pure vitamin E oil to add a moisturizing step to my new skincare routine. At first, all I used on my face was African black soap, witch hazel daily, and a botanic clay mask twice a week.
However, the lack of a moisturizing step in my routine caused my face to still feel dry. As a result, I struggled to see an improvement in reducing the appearance of acne scars.
At first, I did not think I would like this pure Vitamin E oil because my face did not react well to it. At the end of my first week, I started getting red spots (borderline rash) on my right cheek. I assumed that the reason for this could be:
- Maybe I received a bad, expired bottle of oil
- This oil does not react well to my sensitive skin
- My skin just needed time to get used to this product
It turns out that my skin just needed to get used to the pureness of this Vitamin E oil, in addition to altering my overall skincare routine. I stopped using the oil for a couple of days so the redness could clear up. While waiting, I changed the African black soap I used to wash my face and the type of cloth used to wash it. In addition, I switched to non-alcoholic witch hazel, which ironically has tocopheryl acetate Vitamin E in it.
Second Chance
After making these adjustments, I felt confident about reintroducing vitamin E oil back into my skincare routine. To my joy, it effectively reduced the redness and prevented any future occurrences. I started to notice its true benefits, such as effectively moisturizing my skin and gradually decreasing the appearance of dark spots.
One thing I like about this oil is that a small amount goes a long way. Since I didn’t purchase a bottle with a dropper cap, I would pour a small amount on my index finger, quickly rub it on my remaining fingers, and then apply it to my face in circular motions. The grainy/nutty smell of the wheat germ is barely noticeable, and the oil absorbs quickly. If the oil doesn’t absorb into my skin quickly, that’s how I know I’ve used too much.
I usually use this oil at night so it has enough time to work without too much impact from external factors. However, when my schedule gets hectic, I do my skincare routine in the morning.
To prevent overusing Vitamin E oil on my face, I will take a break from using it for a day or two. It’s not a problem for me because the non-alcoholic witch hazel I use contains Vitamin E. Even though it is the synthetic form, tocopheryl acetate, as mentioned earlier, it still effectively moisturizes my skin.
Body Skincare
I do not use this pure vitamin E oil on the rest of my body as much as I do on my face. At first, I did, but I used to mix it with some raw and unrefined shea butter. The only reason why I stopped doing this is because I changed the type of shea butter I use for my body.
The shea butter I use now is more creamy and infused with peppermint oil. Since I want to maintain the peppermint oil’s effectiveness, I’ve decided not to mix this vitamin E oil with this shea butter.
However, the results were impressive when I did mix this pure Vitamin E oil with the thicker raw and unrefined shea butter. For example, my left arm is filled with scars from blemishes, bad scratches, and even a minor cooking accident, all from within the last couple of years. This pure vitamin E oil, mixed with shea butter, did a great job of lightening most of those scars. While they are still on my arm, they are not as noticeable as before unless I look at them closely.
Another example where this pure vitamin E oil has worked on my body is on my feet. More specifically, this oil has successfully repaired damaged skin underneath and around a couple of my toes and ankles.
Haircare
I am focused on growing my hair to try out popular black hairstyles like braids and twists. To help achieve this goal, I’ve been using various hair care products, including pure vitamin E oil for my hair and scalp. Unlike my body, I don’t have any issues with mixing different oil products for my hair.
My experience with using pure vitamin E oil exclusively for my hair literally occurred right before I began writing this article. I only packed my shampoo, conditioner, and pure vitamin E oil for my hair on a recent weekend trip. After washing and conditioning my hair, I covered it with a satin scarf/cap to help lock in moisture. Once my hair was dry, I applied pure vitamin E oil to my scalp and hair and then covered it with the satin scarf/cap overnight to allow the oil to be fully absorbed.
